Design Brief
The goal for this coffee shop was to create a coffee brand that is not so obvious. The mascot of the coffee brand is a penguin, a flightless bird. Despite that, the penguin has wings and can flap and flutter. Avant (original) Flutters is a coffee brand that is offering its new flavor within its ad.

I did not initially consider a penguin as a mascot. In fact, I did not even think of having a mascot. I started by looking at Starbucks and how the name wraps around the icon. I knew I wanted a bean, so I had that to begin with. However, Starbucks had a mermaid as a mascot. As a result, I decided to do a penguin as it is my favorite animal.
