Purpose
Feature Spread 1
The purpose of this spread is to tie in past and modern elements of the topic I am exploring. I wanted to talk about fashion, specifically Asian fashion; however, I must provide context of how this became its own genre.
Design
The vision I had in mind was to provide context for the history of fashion, but present it in a modern way. This spread was inspired by present-day Vogue Magazine—the image on the right has the title tucked behind the subject, just like Vogue magazines.

Feature Spread 2
Design
As mentioned in the previous spread, I must provide context before introducing my subject. This spread includes many sections with headers and subheaders, further exploring the idea of how vast the topic of Asian Fashion can be.
Unlike the first, this spread is more typography-heavy. The typography is broken apart by some imagery with one acting as a text wrap to introduce a more dynamic reading experience.
